  • How long does a custom metal roofing or sheet metal order take?

    Most orders have a typical turnaround time of about 2 to 3 weeks after the order is placed. Gunnison Sheet Metal sources coil and manufactures metal panels, trim and flashing in-house. Timing can vary depending on the product, order size and material availability.

  • Is metal roofing environmentally friendly?

    Metal roofing can be a more sustainable roofing option because metal can be recycled. Gunnison Sheet Metal also recycles scrap metal generated during production. 


    Local manufacturing and on-site roll forming can reduce unnecessary shipping and help prevent panel damage during transportation.

  • Does Gunnison Sheet Metal deliver roofing and sheet metal materials to job sites?

    Yes. Job-site delivery is available for select orders. Customers can also pick up materials directly from our Gunnison warehouse. For gutter orders, our "Gutter" Chop & Drop service starts at $350 per delivery. For locations more than 30 miles from the warehouse, an additional $5 per mile applies.

  • Can Gunnison Sheet Metal make custom trim and flashing?

    Yes. Gunnison Sheet Metal manufactures custom metal trim and flashing using an in-house CNC shear and folder. Custom pieces can be produced for metal roofing, siding and other building applications.

  • Do you manufacture standing seam metal roofing panels in Gunnison?

    Yes. Gunnison Sheet Metal offers standing seam, corrugated, Pro Panel and other metal roofing and siding profiles. Most standing seam orders can also be roll formed on-site, which helps reduce transportation costs and the risk of shipping damage.

  • Do you sell snow retention systems for metal roofs?

    Yes. Gunnison Sheet Metal carries snow retention products for metal roofing, including S-5! ColorGard and DualGard systems. The shop can help contractors and property owners identify products for their roofing project.
